I was very surprised that my dad, Jewish, who worked blue collar at a factory, coul;d speak so fluently in Italian. Explanation: when craftsmanship died along Amalfi coast in Italy, a few companies bro0ught over the skilled craftsmen to work the machines. They stayed.
